Psychotherapy across Ontario
You're not broken. Your patterns make sense, and we can work with them.
Warm, steady, honest psychotherapy for teens and adults. We slow things down, get underneath the patterns that keep repeating, and help the change actually hold in real life. Virtual across Ontario, rooted in the Kawartha Lakes.

Does this sound like you?
Maybe some of this feels familiar.
Behind the “I’m Fine”
You're the reliable one. The strong one. You hold it all together, until you're finally alone and it catches up with you.
The Cost of Overgiving
You keep repeating the same patterns: overgiving, people-pleasing, and losing yourself to keep the connection.
Stuck in the Past
Maybe something happened, recently or a long time ago, and you can't stop thinking about it.
Stuck in Your Head
Your mind won't switch off at night. You replay conversations, rehearse what you should have said, and try to solve everything before you can rest.
Knowing vs. Doing
You know what you "should" do. But when you're activated, actually doing it feels impossible.
Tired but Wired
You feel heavy. Tired but wired. And quietly, a little like something is wrong with you.
If you saw yourself in any of that, you're in the right place. None of it means you're broken. It means your nervous system learned to cope, and those patterns make sense. We can work with them, together.

How therapy works?
Warm and human, and honest with you.
I'm warm and human first. I'm also direct. I'll gently name the patterns I notice, and I will never shame you for them. Curiosity over judgment, always.
We won't just talk in circles about the story. We'll slow down and pay attention to what's happening in your body too, because that's where so much of the real change lives.
And we get underneath the pattern, so this isn't just insight that feels good in session and fades by Tuesday. It's change that holds when you're back in real life.
The shift we're working toward
- I'm the problem
- My patterns make sense, and I can change them
- Spiralling and overthinking
- Steadiness and self-trust
- Losing yourself in relationships
- Clearer needs, boundaries, and confidence
And if I'm ever not the right fit for you, I'll tell you, and help you find someone who is.
Safety first. Then change.
“Safety first. Then change.”
And if I'm ever not the right fit for you, I'll tell you, and help you find someone who is.

Behind the warmth is real training. You won't need to know what any of those mean to feel the difference — I'll always translate them into plain, human language, and use what actually fits you, rather than a one-size-fits-all method.
Areas of focus
What we can work through together.
A lot of what brings people to me overlaps, and you don't need to have it neatly figured out or labelled. Here's some of what I help with.
01
Trauma and its aftermath.
Childhood trauma, sexual assault, and the way the nervous system can stay in survival mode long after. We go at your pace, and we never dig for the sake of digging.
02
Anxiety, overthinking, and overwhelm.
The racing mind, the 2am loops, the tired-but-wired feeling that won't switch off.
03
Relationship patterns.
People-pleasing, attachment push and pull, codependency, boundaries, and the habit of losing yourself to keep a connection.
04
Self-worth, shame, and self-blame.
The quiet, heavy sense that something is wrong with you.
05
Addiction.
Your own relationship with it, or the strain of loving someone who's struggling.
06
Life transitions.
Burnout, breakups, identity shifts, fertility struggles, pregnancy loss, and early motherhood.
Who I work with
Who I work With?
Adults
Navigating trauma, anxiety, relationships, and life changes.
Couples
Who want to communicate and reconnect.
Families
Working through conflict and understanding.
Young adults
Roughly 16 to 24, who want to be here and are ready to engage.
Is this the right fit?
This work is collaborative, and it works best when you're ready to look inward and try things between sessions, not just talk for an hour and hope it fixes itself. I'm warm, but I'm not passive. I'll gently challenge you, and I'll always do it with care.
If you're looking for someone to simply agree with you, or for quick answers without the deeper work, I'm honestly probably not your person, and that's completely okay.
Sessions are fully virtual, across Ontario.
About Me
Hi, I'm Hayley.
I didn't find this work in a classroom. I found it sitting beside people in some of their hardest moments, and realising that what changes things isn't being told what to do. It's being truly understood.
I started out volunteering in a youth mental-health and detention centre, and working with homeless youth. I watched people get penalised for struggling, when what they were really missing was connection.
Your own relationship with it, or the strain of loving someone who's struggling.
My style is warm and human first, while still being honest and clear.
I'll gently name what I notice, bring you back to what's happening in your body, and help you build self-trust that lasts outside the session.
“And if I'm ever not the right fit for you, I'll tell you, and help you find someone who is.”
